Josh & Dale
This wedding had it all. Seriously, I would have loved to have been a guest at this one.
From the most touching ceremony to the bottomless champagne towers, decadent food by Jacqui Rey and her team at Food Matters, and amazing entertainment, no detail was too big or too small for Dale and Josh.
Yes, they wanted all the usual boxes ticked, but their main concern was to spoil their family and friends, to say thank you for all the love and support they had received over the years. Their beaming faces say it all.
And spoil them they did! There is something rather wonderful about a couple who approach their wedding with as much consideration for their guests as they do for themselves. Every decision seemed to come back to making sure the people they loved were going to have the most extraordinary time.
Dale and Josh come from two extremely close and loving families, and they treat their friends like family too. That sense of togetherness was reflected throughout the celebration, from the ceremony to the festivities that followed.
It wasn't her own dress that Dale was dying to tell me about in our meetings, but rather her bridesmaids'!
She wanted her girls to look and feel spectacular, not like an afterthought.
I particularly loved this about Dale. After all, bridesmaids spend an enormous amount of time making sure the bride looks and feels her absolute best, so it was rather lovely to see that same consideration being returned.
Dale and her girls didn't disappoint!

With so much attention given to the food, flowers, entertainment and all the little details in between, this was a celebration that truly delivered on its promise of spoiling everyone in attendance.
And while I may have been working rather than enjoying those bottomless champagne towers, I certainly understood why I would have loved to have been on the guest list!
